Helping Sustain our Village Community + Working Creatively to Tackle the Challenge of Climate Change

The Ilmington 20:20 Soft Plastic Recycling Scheme has now ended
Since its launch in May 2023 your 20:20 Committee, together with Mark and Cecilia Currey, have taken a staggering 3,000 + litres of soft plastic waste to Tesco's for recycling. Waste that would otherwise have gone to landfill
It has been a huge success and has undoubtedly made everyone who has used the bins far more aware of our environmental footprint
As our scheme ends, Stratford District Council is introducing its much-delayed plan to collect your soft plastic via our Blue Bins which launches on Friday April 18th

Please continue to save up your soft plastic waste for the new scheme.... or take it along to Tesco, which recycles a greater selection of plastic waste than other supermarkets!
